關渡美術館2007勁秀系列-I ---陳文祺個展

作品「鏡花水月」的構想始自8年前，創作動機在於記錄人際感官在「被要求的自願」狀態下，所發生的種種介入模式。這樣的拍攝構想，直至2005年認識作品「鏡花水月」中的四位朋友，才得以被實現。
鏡頭下的她們，雖然同樣具有「女性」的生理外觀特徵，但是卻各有性別或國籍越界的愛恨情愁，不論是隻身一人、或是姐妹或是同鄉，她們都是離開父母、生活於台北這個繁華都市的「女子」。她們的「日常」種種，宛如縮小版的台北社會實景。
我選擇了「記錄者」與「被記錄者」的共同生活方式，透過「非情感式」的記錄，詮釋「被記錄者」的人際關係與情境。目的在於強調我的創作不同於紀實攝影或是報導攝影，既不帶有主觀認知性格，也不包含「被記錄者」的刻意情境配合。
而展覽現場的觀者，透過一幕幕的畫面，看著平面影像中被赤裸裸呈現的他人生活情事，不禁產生類比情感，自身似乎也進入了其間的生活。但是這一切卻猶如鏡花水月般，似乎清晰可見但卻無從掌握，因為不論是「記錄者」、「被記錄者」或是「展覽現場的觀者」，透過鏡頭所「共同」體驗的生命經驗，既有「實」也有「虛」，既是「真相」也是「幻影」。
