Chen, Hao-Yi This exhibition attempts to offer more choices to a new style of community control model. On the one hand, tags have features of openness and anyone can attach a tag to anything at anytime. Additionally, tags are not categorized. On the other hand, owing to commonalities and similarities of humans’ behaviors, “allying” is to have an effect on gathering. This is not a fantasy to the real situation; instead, this is to collect and practice in reality. What art works provide is not an imaginative blueprint but easy information transmission through normality. It is also not a model but a kind of openness that exists from the very beginning. By using this strategy, the contemporary art both opens doors to the masses and blurs the boundaries of works. This is why art receives more supports in interdisciplinary areas. More importantly, it attaches more tags to everyone’s manual of life practice.
