Introduction of Symposium
The symposium will be the kick-off initiative of the exhibition. Through a discursive format the topic of “Becoming Human in Posthuman Times” will be eradicated between panelists from University of Applied Arts and Taipei National University of Arts. This discursive format gives both institutions a platform for exchange and presentation, emphasizing the topic of exhibition.

Capturing Symposium Discussions:

To align with the technological and future-oriented theme of the symposium, the panel's audio recordings will be uniquely preserved as 3D-printed objects inspired by the concept of "Inscriptions." During the panel discussions, the audio will be processed into 3D geometries using a specially trained AI model, which translates sound into digital artifacts. These 3D objects will be dynamically generated in real time, inscribing the audio data into visually engaging forms displayed on screens. At the end of each symposium day, the objects will be incrementally 3D printed and added to the exhibition. These physical artifacts will serve as tangible reminders of the symposium, seamlessly integrated into the exhibition.

Culinary Experience:

Augmenting the intellectual discourse will be an immersive food installation by Marianna Mondelos. This edible installation questions how technologies influence our food culture. Paradigm shifts through technologies in our societies have an impact on the foods we produce and consume. From convenience food and artificial flavors to self-optimization through various supplements, we shape our cultures and identities by the meals we eat and how we form our communities around them. These culinary experiences will create communal spaces where attendees and speakers can converge, fostering connections and facilitating further dialogue amidst shared sensory pleasures.
