Multiple identities split are similar with the planaria split lengthwise or crosswise. By the exhibition
Ahhhh…Planaria!”, we try to describe those different sides of us. We receive the outside stimulation, such as the
knife”to remove the planaria half. These stimulations perhaps are new experiences, something impact directly to our sense or the non-spoken experiences can not describe or locate with precise words. We try to show the split statuses continually in our daily life. Nine young artists from
Ahhhh…Planaria!” have forward perspectives and fine perception from their own works which was corresponding to the culture, society and common experiences.
Wow Wow”(The Chinese title means planaria’s home) is the other exhibition in the exhibition. Nine artists create new identities and names to discard the original contexts of their owns. We also expect brand-new things, the sense of split that the main goal of exhibition. By watching the exhibition, works will lead viewers to split, unite and revive to reach a new perception and experience.
