The Fuxinghan Studio holds significant importance in the development of video art history in Taiwan. In the first decade of the 21st century, artists continued to explore the narrative techniques of film and television, as well as the viewing habits of audiences from the late 1990s. Simultaneously, the widespread use of the internet and the integration of mobile devices into daily life drastically altered the role of images in society. The boundaries between comics, animation, games, and video streaming began to blur. Against this backdrop of media history, the works of Fuxinghan Studio significantly reflect this transition. To this day, artists such as Chen Liang-Hsuan, Zhang Hsiao-Shu, Li Cheng-Liang, Chen Ching-Yuan, Wu Chi-Yu, Musquiqui Chihying, and others continue to push these boundaries through various forms of creation.
This exhibition, based on the Ministry of Culture's "Museum and Art 5G Technology Cross-Domain Application Project." aims to continue the long-term focus of ET@T on the impact of technological changes on art and creation. It also seeks to respond to artists' reflections on media interaction and artistic development through current technological conditions like robotics, VR, and apps, employing gamification strategies and an integration of virtual and physical exhibition forms.

Exhibition Introduction
Here, most of the space is submerged in oceans, and all creatures can move freely in the water. It's rumored that this is the real world billions of years in the future, where you might glimpse traces of past civilizations in the barnacle-covered human ruins. However, some firmly believe that this is a parallel universe developing alongside the real world. The ocean environment of the Aquaworld is highly unpredictable; a simple shift in the current can instantly transform an entire blue sea into a tangy, tomato-orange hue, triggering massive ecological migrations! Even the top scientists in Aquaworld can only scratch their heads and helplessly say, "We don’t know why, and wish we had someone to ask!"

Recently, a peculiar group of beings known as "Reincarnators" has emerged. Unlike others who enter through the common portals here, they have been hurled into this chaotic world by some mysterious external force. Their attitude toward life is often filled with pessimism, with some even expressing regret for their past lives. These Reincarnators possess a unique digestive system, where a sea cucumber or a jellyfish from the Aquaworld could easily end up on their plates. The ecological shifts brought by ocean currents only expand the possibilities for their strange and ever-changing diet. Though they lack formidable physical strength, they have quietly risen to become the omnivorous kings, capable of devouring everything in their path! What fate will their arrival bring to the Aquaworld? Grab your translation bloodcake—the answer awaits you in the depths of the chaotic sea!

Artists
Fuxinghen Studio
Fuxinghen Studio was founded in 2009, once located above a Hi-Life between Fuxinggang and Zhongyi MRT stations in Taipei. It is a contemporary art group dedicated to passionately pursuing seemingly meaningless endeavors. The members, mostly classmates and friends, are often easily discouraged and frequently feel lost, with the phrase "if I could be reborn, I want to be a sea cucumber" recurring in their minds.

This has led to a particular fondness for marine animals, inspiring a series of art projects named after sea creatures. Their creative mediums are diverse, ranging from performance art, video, and children's songs to submarine sculptures—if it can be made, they'll make it.

In the year of its founding, the members used the accumulated waste from their shared apartment to build a wrestling ring and crafted personal armor for a live-action combat show titled 《The King of Seafood Will Be Back Fighting》. The following year, 《The Sponge Project》 saw the creation of a land-sailing submarine, which unexpectedly became a popular spot for wedding photoshoots in Tainan. The studio still occasionally reunites around their annual project 《Project 0:00》, with hot pot and seafood being their go-to for group meals.
