Electronic Skin - an exhibit of Way, Der-Lor and Tao, Ya-Lun’s works This is an age of light. The information light forms a film on the skin surface, and the skin cells of the body are like pixels, forming an organic light-emitting screen. Information light has escaped from the virtual screen to form a 3-dimensional image that embodies all the senses of the body. This new object, which is virtual and real at the same time, has become a space that gathers all information and integrates the body and its sense as part of the viewing experience, allowing information light to permeate the skin and into the nerve endings of the body. Information light has not only become an artificial limb and doppelganger of our bodies and organs but has also become a live organic entity formed by a collective consciousness.
