Sensory memory is the shortest duration memory classified by scientists. It only happens in a few seconds. However, the feeling and ideas triggered by sensory memory will turn into long-term memory in the rehearsed process. In “ The Net of Fragmented Memories,” two curators used different yet connected ideas to discuss the subject of memory, one focused on memory production, and another concentrated on the historical memory passing through the generations. At this event, we invite the director of KdMoFA, Chien-Hung Huang, to talk about the mechanism to evoke memories through dynamic and variable media and images in the process between sensory and long-term memory.
