In my recent works I start with researching and then make a video and installation in response. During my investigation I explore activities for example I visited the chief priest at a Buddhist temple in Thailand, I have also hosted a house party with neighboring migrants, and in another project I volunteered to teach Japanese to asylum seekers. As stones and dogs are equivalent as ground powder of pencils in 2D drawings, molecular biology, religions, instagram, where conversations with refugees are equivalently configuring my works. Through blurring the borders between them or recomposing them surrealistically, I am exploring the way to stimulate unconsciousness. When these things make reactions between them, it is like expressing light in drawing where the brightest part is not drawn by pencils.
