Park Jung Kyung was born South Korea in 1982 and studied fine art at the Chugye University for the Arts, graduating in 2010. She is interested in old cities and looks for empty places under government development plans. She then draws that landscape with her feelings. Her most recent exhibition is the Shinhan Young Artist Festa in 2017 as one of the selected artists and a solo exhibited at the Shinhan Gallery Gwanghwamun in Seoul, under the title of ‘Breath of the Night’. She hopes that her works could serve as a chance to look back on resplendence of childhood and the spaces that become forgotten through the appearances of a city such as old theme parks.
