工作坊
服部太郎將在美術系的合作課堂上，介紹自己創作的歷程與方向，並以竹子作為媒材，帶領學生們從回質材的根本，並以讓學生們寫作自問的方式，探索自己的創作根源。

藝術開講
日本籍駐館藝術家服部太郎，常期在舊金山活動，並於舊金山的卡拉藝術機構（Kala Art Institute ）工作，他的豐富美術經驗談，將能完整介紹其作品發展脈絡，並有機會與他深談關於東方的文化儀式與儀式上的視覺驚艷對他的創作所帶來的影響。

開放藝術家工作室參觀
「空間」、「竹子」與「合作」是近來服部持續進行的計畫，在其駐館的一個月期間，他將由此探索空間與裝置的關係，並以東南亞常見的素材-竹子，進行其建構式的裝置。兩日的開放工作室參觀，將提供民眾最近的距離，與藝術家正面交流。

Workshop
Taro Hattori will introduce his art practice and perspective to the TNUA students on the workshop. By using bamboo as his material of work, he will lead them to look back the base of materials and guide the students to explore themselves with a principle of writing Q&A.

Artist Talk
Taro Hattori, a San Francisco- based artist, has been working at Kala Art Institute for years. His rich experiences of art practice and art background will bring the overall idea to the audiences. He will also talk about the experience of eastern culture on the ritual ceremony and how it made influence on his works.

Open Studio
Space, bamboo and collaboration are the main elements that Taro recently focused on. During the one month of staying, he will explore the relationship between space and installation to construct his installation project based the common material in south Asia –bamboo sticks. Two days of Open Studio will provide the audience a close up opportunity to exchange with the artist in person.
