駐館創作計畫

來自日本的丸山純子對於中介的事物感到興趣。它可以是可視或不可視的,像是某種縫隙共振中的湧泉,而它一直存在於個體之中。丸山希望製作如此的湧泉並增添或拉扯意志於特定的存在體。而在這之後隱藏的是無限的可能性。

丸山近期著力於新事物以及具有生活手感的新作,過去塑膠袋所做的塑膠花是她顯著的作品系列,現今她所發展的是運用如PP、PE的塑膠及廢油為創作素材。她收集它們、重塑它們、並連結他們之間。

丸山純子將自4月20日起至6月21日於關渡美術館駐館創作,駐館期間她將持續發展熱熔塑膠的系列作品、肥皂雕塑以及在北藝風概念店重現「丸山花店」。

Program Proposal

Japanese artist Maruyama Junko is interested in things in the middle. It might be visible or invisible. She considers something like a gushing spring in the gap and resonance, which lying among the individual existence. Maruyama would like to discover the gushing spring, adding and pulling will to a certain existence. Endless possibilities are hidden from there.

Maruyama has been making new things that involved in her life. Her flowers made by plastic bags in the past are well recognized. The materials she is working on now are plastics such as PP, PE and also used oils. She collects, melts, reshapes, and then connects them.

From April 20 to June 21, Maruyama Junko will be resident at the Kuandu Museum of Fine Arts. And during her residency, she will continue developing the melting plastic series, soap sculpture and resetting a “Maruyama Flower Shop” that she has run before at the “KD Art Gallery Shop” in the campus.
